DIESEL RETROFIT RESOURCES:
BROCHURES:
LNF and LXF Muffler Kits >>
LNF and LXF Muffler Kits:
Level 3+ Passive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) technology provides the highest tailpipe PM reduction available today (>90%), making LNF and LXF kits popular choices for diesel emissions retrofit programs including school bus applications.
Non-Road LNF Muffler System >>
Non-Road LNF Muffler System:
A solution for Off-Road Vehicles is the NR-LNF (Non-Road – Low NO2 Filter Muffler) Kit. The Passive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) technology provides the highest tailpipe PM reduction available today (>90%), making it a popular choice for diesel retrofit programs. NR-LNF mufflers are designed and verified for non-road, EPA Tier 1, or Tier 2 diesel engine applications.
SEF Muffler System >>
SEF Muffler System:
A SEF (Semi-active Electric Filter) Muffler DPF system is effective on a broad range of vehicle duty cycles and engines. Just connect to the automated DPF Regeneration Station overnight for routine DPF cleaning.
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) >>
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC):
The DOC Muffler is a direct replacement for most original equipment mufflers; the DOCs are to be installed ahead of your existing muffler. These products offer a cost-effective diesel retrofit solution designed for four-stroke, on-road, 1988-
2006 model-year engines rated from 150-550 horsepower.

MANUALS:
LNF & LXF Mufflers >>
LNF & LXF Mufflers:
The LNF and LXF Mufflers are passive DPF retrofit systems designed to capture diesel PM and eliminate gaseous emissions. This resource includes pre-installation requirements, installation instructions, maintenance recommendations, troubleshooting and your limited warranty.
SEF Muffler System >>
SEF Muffler System:
The SEF Muffler System is an active DPF system designed to capture diesel PM and eliminate gaseous emissions. The system uses an electric heater to periodically burn the PM captured in the DPF. An off-board DPF Regeneration Station controls the regeneration process once connected to the vehicle-mounted junction box. The Regeneration Station provides the control and monitoring needed to ensure complete DPF regeneration in a safe and timely manner.
DOC Mufflers >>
DOC Mufflers:
DOC Mufflers are designed to reduce harmful emissions from in-use diesel engines. Besides reducing diesel particulate matter emissions by 15-30%, diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC’s) mufflers are also effective at reducing hydrocarbon emissions.
DOC Mufflers are extremely reliable, cost-effective, and easy to apply as well as provide substantial benefits in air quality. DOC Mufflers are also maintenance-free with normal operation.
Gen2 DPF Pulse Cleaner >>
Gen2 DPF Pulse Cleaner:
The Gen2 DPF Pulse Cleaner removes accumulated ash and particulate matter using a high-velocity, low-pressure air pulse. If more thorough cleaning is required, use the DPF Thermal Regenerator to remove any hydrocarbons (HC) and unburned particulate matter remaining in the filter. After a filter goes through the thermal regenerator cycle, it needs to be pulse cleaned a second time to remove any ash freed during the thermal regeneration.
DPF Thermal Regenerator >>
DPF Thermal Regenerator:
The DPF Thermal Regenerator cabinet is the second stage of our DPF Cleaning System – designed to remove hydrocarbons and unburned particulate matter within the filter channels. The DPF Thermal Regenerator provides vehicle maintenance facilities an enclosed, automated cabinet that burns diesel particulate matter (PM) on a highly loaded (or plugged) diesel particulate filter.
Back Pressure Monitor >>
Back Pressure Monitor (BPM):
A Back Pressure Monitor (BPM) detects excessive engine backpressure created by the flow restriction of an overloaded emissions control device, such as a diesel particulate filter (DPF). When excessive backpressure is detected, steady and flashing visual warning lights communicate the diesel particulate status to the vehicle operator.
Emissions Device Monitor >>
Emissions Device Monitor (EDM):
The CDG Emissions Device Monitor (EDM) is included with every diesel particulate filter (Filter) muffler kit. This monitor is key to the proper operation, service and maintenance and helps you understand how the unit is performing.
The EDM will store and analyze operating information in the memory module to allow maintenance technicians to monitor Filter operation and troubleshoot fault conditions.
Exhaust Gas Temperature Data Logger >>
Exhaust Gas Temperature Data Logger:
“Data-logging” is a process used to take a snapshot of the duty cycle of a specific diesel engine. This resulting profile is then used to ensure that the engine is generating the proper heat necessary for a proposed filter based product.
A data logger is a device used to record the exhaust temperature during engine operation. In general, the data logging tool records several days of information to provide a required data sample size by State or Federal regulations.
